I might make it. Knee surgery yesterday wasn't as bad as expected. Couple of weeks of physical therapy might get me ready.

I am sure Tony Smith will be here, Kurt Manual emailed and said he will be bringing 2 cars. Mark Buchanan, Frank Smith and Steve White will be there.
I will be there on my scooter!!
I now have a spread sheet a good friend of mine set up that is going to make doing the ladder a breeze!!! I can put in the car info, index, there is room for up to 4 qualifying runs, it takes reaction time into concideration during eliminations, prints out a ladder..... he did some awesome work on this!!! Once I get the runs logged into it, I can sort it and print out the ladder in a few seconds. No more sitting there doing it by hand!!!

Pro or Sportsman ladder? Sounds like a high-bred if it also considers R/T

Always a sportsman ladder. A hi bred? Ever outrun someone but get beat on the tree? Gotta take reaction time in consideration, otherwise it would give the win to the quicker car every time whether he won or lost on the tree. I have been putting every scenario into this that I can think of.... so far it is 100% accurate! Even showed me beating you with my pit bike....

I guess I've never seen RT being a factor in qualifying.
It isn't even in NHRA's Top Fuel.

The Goodguys Race in Bowling Green a few years ago was run with qualifying on RT. I was #1 qualifier after having a .001 and some one else did too but I was first, and got the bye. I think one of the Midwest groups do it that way. Jim N.

If my car makes it through testing this weekend, I'll be there.

Typically the ladder is set by ET (with the first to do it breaking any tie) and once the ladder is set -- it is static. I'm just sayin

I don't think Mike was talking about using the R/T for qualifying. It sounds like the program, if you enter both cars R/T and E/T it calculates the winner and places them on the tree for the next round.

I thought a ladder was static based on qualifying. I guess I'm a traditionalist.
