Josh, Class Runoff's are where each class ( A,B,C,etc) run until you have a winner for each class. Same as NHRA Stock/Superstock Class eliminations exception being breakout's for each index. I hope this makes sense, depending on how many cars are in each class could be several rounds.

Josh, to further clarify - Class runoffs are done on Saturday. Depending on weather/schedule conditions, all NSS and F/X cars might have one hit (could be qualifying or just time trial) in the morning and then are grouped according to a driver chosen class (index).
In the afternoon, the classes NSS/A through NSS/G are each run heads-up down to a winner and runner-up with however many drivers chose a particular class (index).
Because it eliminates potential one and/or two cars classes and makes for a better show, all the F/X cars are grouped together in one class but are run eliminator style, either randomly or on a ladder, handicapped on their chosen index to a final winner and runner-up.
On Sunday, all NSS and F/X cars are grouped together in one eliminator on a ladder according to the previous qualifying order done on Friday and/or Saturday and then run to a winner, runner-up, semifinalists and quarterfinalists.
