That web site needs a lot of updating -- as www.monstermopar.com/prizes.htmlI know it isn't the Dave Duell Classic as that is in Bowl Green -- but is the prize still $4000 and the entry $150? I happen to know a web designer if you need one. I was the one to talk Scott into a web site and did his first one for him. He had someone twist his arm for his last one -- which used a good bit on my material on the racing pages.

But, what is the prize and are all makes invited?.............Or is this a Mopar event only?......we are ONLY interested in NSS. But, I see from the poster that it says Mopar only event.
Good luck and our best wishes for a well attended and rain free event.

I checked their web site and there are no NSS purses posted -- and the only thing posted in the NSS page is a 2008 cut and paste of the NSSA rules.
I tried to post
at the Monster Page on Facebook -- but I received an error message saying I've been blocked for abusive posts.
You've got me what that's all about.

www.monstermopar.com says race for over $8000.00. If you go to links for drag races. There are 3 races that have payouts. Sharadon Hemi shootout has stepped up for a total payout of $ 1775.00, the BPF/CWS 10.5 pays $5,500.00, and the CRT 10.0 11.0 is paying $1280.00. If my math is right everyone could be racing for over $8555.00 . Looks like they are correct. So it is quite possible N/SS racers run for fun. I have a couple of trophies I could donate. All in all, nobody, and I mean nobody, does an event better than Doug.

Now I'm confused.
Doug is putting on the NSS race and it's the second Dave Duell classic for 2011?
I'll have to let Dave clear up that confusion.....

Lets clear this up. The "Dave Duell Classic" is being held August 5-7th at Bowling Green,KY with the NMCA series. The Monster Mopar name has been bought by Josh King and he is holding an event the last weekend in September. Although Josh is running NSS it has no connection to the "Dave Duell Classic". The format and purse is different. They is only one "Dave Duell Classic".
