took out 20 pounds and did the 10.991 I thought I'd get. It was 86 degrees with a tail wind. one more shot to improve 11.008. Reverse order, I'm guessing it will be 6PM before we run if there's the usual number of screwups with the bracket and true street racers. My guess is I'll be putting 20 pounds back in the box. Dallas did a 9.89 and needs to slow down some more.

Qualifying is over and three of us had .008 but mine was first -- so if 1320go is correct -- I should be #1 and get the Bye in the morning. Dallas got his car to slow down enough to a 10.02 on a 10.00 index.

I hear DW is dead in the water with a rocker issue so believe a local guy with a 69 Dart gets a bye

When Dallas wins round 1....round two is going to be very interesting. Shultz -vs- Schultz.
Who's going for youth and enthusiasm? And, who's going with age and attitude?
Dave, I'm not ashamed to admit, Gabe and I have only pared-off one time during eliminations....and the kid kicked my butt (IN MOM'S WAGON!). Three cars left and we had to run each other. He won another round for the Wally.
So, I'm just preparing you......
Dallas, you can give me the money, for psyching dad out, in Commerce!

If he wins -- he wins. I'm got going to give it to him -- and he's not going to give it to me. But he has to get around Bud first.

OK I was backed out for 2 drops of water 6' apart from each other (header bolt that goes through the head's water jacket) and Wilson got the bye.
The Dart beat the High Voltage car, and Wilson red lit against the Dart.
Loading up, shower, and getting on the road.
Shutting the computer down
