Here's the slip for my Time Trial -- after bolting in 50#s. We're fixing to have 1st round any moment.

I just saw Jim N. drive by on the way out. I guess he ran his number but the trans was slipping. Sorry to hear that Jim.

I'm out in the first round. I hit the brakes to take off 13mph but I still had a 1/2 car on him.



Clay and Rosie are in. Dallas, Mitsi are out. Marty is in, Doug is in, Dichico is out. 41 players still and I don't have a score card

Just stopped at exit 58 on I-55 where we stopped last year to top off on fuel and dump the tanks. The NEW Flying J wants $5 to dump the tanks. Dave, I thought you were overreacting to the NEW Flying J, but you're right, they can go flying ! I'll dump at the rest area and fill up at Kroger or Walmart where fuel is cheaper!

Had a great time, just couldn't close the deal.
Lost in the class final Saturday with a 10.497 to 10.503 and again Sunday in the final, this time with a 10.501 to 10.01 to Don in his beautiful black 64 hemi dodge. margin was .006!!

Thanks to everyone who attended "The Dave Duell Classic" at Monster Mopar. We had 82 NSS cars at this race which is a new record. Bob will soon post all the details of the race but I wanted to says congrats to all class winners and to Don and Jim on a great final round. Everyone at the event was so nice and easy to work with it really made the race easy to run. I dont know what the future with hold but we will be running this event next year, hopefully in St Louis. In the mean time Im relaxing for a couple a days reading my manual on how to operate my battery charger.

Wow what a great weekend! Hat's off to Doug for a great event. Congrats to Don on his win and Jim for his runner up. That was a super field of NSS cars. Also congrats to Dave on his C class win. I really enjoyed talking to everyone and already looking foward to next year.

;D Thank you just doesn't do justice to Dougs hard work. Steve and I had a blast just spectating (but I did go and/or drank a few rounds Saturday night) Just a quick churn of the brain rattled off a group of missing racers that would have been a kick-butt show on its own (Mark, Kirk, Vic Raupe, Bob Sharp, Jason Billips, the Gorrels, Larry Quinn, Kevin Gass, etc) Can you say 100 cars???
