Frankly, I don't know what to expect and the Doc doesn't know how long I'll be down until I get opened up.
I hope to bounce back soon -- and even try to make the Dave Duell Classic if possible -- but you never know how these things go. I hate hospitals, and since my wife is a nurse (and I have shit for insurance), I generally talk the hospital/Surgeon into discharging me quick and let me recover at home. This is the 11th surgery under a General in 12 years - and they don't ever get easier waking up from, or recovering. Getting old sux lol
The bottom line is despite having an iPad to get online while in bed, I still may not be able to delete any Spam or post any photos for a few days, so ignore any Spam until I can get back on line.

Get well soon.
If there was a way, it would be good just to send a DEATH RAY back to the spammer's IP Address!
Good to see Dallas last night in Chandler. Quite a drive!

Surgery went well -- so the doctor tells my wife. He talked to me in the recovery room, but it appears I still wasn't awake enough to have known he was even there. I actually came out of this general than the last two surgeries as I think this anesthesiologist took better care to work around my other medical problems.
I have to stay in bed for a couple of days (good thing I have an iPad to stay on-line), have the drain removed -- and will be swollen and in pain for a couple of weeks.
I'm just glad it is over.

Glad you are recovering good Dave, what did you have done? poppaj More than you'll ever want to know about me lol - but I'm old and don't care Ok what happened was I had a bad E-Coli infection, apparently for a long time. It made it's way to the twins causing an aliment I can't remember the name of. That in turn caused hydocele and they swoll up to the size of grapefruits. Two months of a strong antibiotics had one of my boyz return to normal (orange lol) size, but the other got worse. Hydrocele operation – adult www.netdoctor.co.uk/surgical-procedures/hydrocele-operation-adult.htmThe surgery had them open up the nutsack and peel back to first drain and then repair the internal damage. About a dozen stitches sewed up Boyz Town and a temporary drain inserted. The drain gets removed later in the week. The main problem for me is the General anesthesia because of my high blood pressure and lung issues, to where extra (and painful) Precautions are taken. They want me to stay in the hospital for two days, but my doctor knows my wife is a retired RN and knows how to deal with the bandages so im home. Much better for me than staying in the hospital. I feel that Ive been kicked hard in the nuts and they're suppose to swell bad and take a month to return to normal size and function. I'm technically suppose to be in bed for three to four days and not to drive for a month. Less pain this morning, I'll assume yesterday's "Scotch Therepy" was successful. I figure distilled grain alcohol is a natural disinfectant in addition to a great pain killer. My wife is such a skeptic!

Finally made it up the stairs to my home office today. I think the alcohol therapy I put thyself on is helping. The theory being that Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels is both a good internal antiseptic and a pain reliever. I felt no pain when I crawled into bed last night.
The same doctor that did this surgery did my kidneys in 2009. I flew to Little Rock two days later (when I was still suppose to be in the hospital) and drove home my SRT8. I popped some stitches on the plane up -- it is was too late to get restitched when I got home -- so I have an extra belly button now. Remembering this, the Doc told me that he's going to be at a wedding in California -- so if I rip any stitches -- it is my tough shit.
So I'm being a good boy.

C'mon, Schultz. This is all a bunch of crap. Duell said you got a frontal lobotomy. Said you read an article in Hot Rod that it would improve your reaction times. So you went for it. --- Man, you're ONE dedicated racer. -7130 NSS

Recovery is not going as well as it should. I popped a couple of stitches yesterday and started bleeding. I've been trying to be good and staying home resting -- but this isn't going well. I might be 50/50 on making Bowling Green
