I'm off to go have my pre-surgical (July 18th) Ultrasound done. Do you think she'll be expecting flowers?
I might be missing the Dave Duell Classic after all, so thinks the surgeon. I think he's wrong and that I'll be able to make the trip, but he reminded me how I busted the stitches from his kidney surgery when I insisted leaving the hospital in the morning -- and then flew to Little Rock to bring back my SRT8.
I would really hate to miss this race, but the problem is that this will be the one trip Dallas can't make (he's in a wedding), so I'll have to drive, load, and unload without his help. That's what may keep me from making the race.

When I went for the Ultra Sound I was told that a class would be observing. There must be some Obama stimulus plan to upgrade girls in Housekeeping to Ultra Sound students -- as they were all mopping and dusting before the Ultra Sound girl called them in to observe. They had to take a lot of photos on their cell phones, I guess for their report back to the teacher, who I was told couldn't make it.
One of the students was an American Indian. She gave me the Indian name of "One Huge Stone" -- which I guess is better than just "One Stone", or worse yet "No Stones".
It didn't start off well when I told the ultrasound girl to be easy with me as it was my first time
