SO, would you like some cheese with your whine? When it gets too competitive, it becomes no fun. Fun is the whole reason we're running in NSS. The most competitive racers on earth (just look at the qualifying numbers!!!), but when the helmets come off, greatest bunch of folks you'd ever want to hang out with. Take a deep breath, count you're blessings (you've got more than most), and smell the racing gas. The Dr. is now OUT...... www.nmcadigital.com/points/2011NMCApoints.pdf No pressure from the Jimmy Ray racing camp! 23 out of 43, not too bad for one race all year! Just wait till Bowling Green.... Oh, I forgot, no pressure.....

Well I'm a competitive person by nature and always have been. I can't change that personal trait nor do I feel the need to apologize for being that way. I aim high in my goals -- and the ring is a big deal to be. I could race locally if I just wanted to race -- but I want to race and win a Championship.
A confluence of events this year make that near impossible (I'm not throwing in the towel -- but I've never been this far back and the chances of 8 people falling on their face while I ace all races is pretty slim) -- and I'm disappointed, not whining.
The pressure is off for the rest of the season. I've been putting of back and shoulder surgery for some time because of rehab time is longer than just the off-season, and I can now focus on ironing out any wrinkles in the whale for next year.
