at two other sites I started a thread where people can introduce themselves -- and we all learn a little more about who are the other people in the forum, and what makes them, them.
It's gone pretty well there, so I thought I'd try it here.
Why not take a couple of minutes to post a couple short paragraphs about yourself, and if you have the ability (remembering that Facebook = Free Photo Hosting) post a childhood and recent photo of yourself.

Since I've already typed mine for www.moparstyle.com/forums/corner-tavern/15235-so-who-you.html and www.oldhippie.com/forums/ice-house/18598-so-who-you.html -- it is a simple cut and paste for me to start. I was born in the mid 50s in Detroit -- the eldest of five boys and three girls. My family moved to Texas in 1960, New Jersey in 1965, and Buffalo in 1970. I dropped out of high school in 1971, went in the Air Force in 1972 and finished in 1977. I went to college nights from 77 to 86. I moved back to Texas in March 77. I married in 1979 and have three daughters (28, 26, 13) and two sons (23, and 21). No grandchildren. I grew up in poverty and have had a job since selling doughnuts door to door in San Marcos Texas at 8. I've been a truck driver, a mechanic, fixed vacuum cleaners, laid black top, been a roofer, sold carpet cleaning service, repossessed furniture and cars, fixed computers, sold computers, run collection agencies, been a computer programmer, and a business owner of various businesses. At one time I employed 150 people and paid well over $1Million a year in income taxes -- before deciding I wasn't going to fight the Socialists system any longer -- and retired early. I love drag racing, Mopars, collectible cars, motorcycles, computers, motorhoming, and photography. My politics runs between Conservative and Libertarian. Right now I'm semi-retired over-seeing family investments, a personal race car shop and collectible cars/motorcycles, and Internet designer. I intend attempt one more home run in business when the political climate is right for me to want to take a risk of employing people again. In the current business climate, I have no desire to be one of the givers for so many takers.

no one else?
NSS Racers are interesting people with a diverse range of backgrounds. I think we'll better understand each other if we know what makes us -- us.
