www.lonestarmotorsportspark.com/events.phpI'm going to bring the Whale to Lonestar Saturday to make a couple light passes, before running it in Dallas next month. Dallas will most likely run the Vitamin C in the 7.0 (1/8 mile) class for the event -- but I'm just there for a couple easy passes to see if everything holds together on its first time to the track. 1st pass I'll shift at 3500, second pass I'll shift at 4500, and I might then make a third pass at 5500 after running the valves -- if all appears to be working well.

Dallas won the 7.0 event against 15 tough electronic cars -- foot-braking the Vitamin C. It was the first time he raced my car.

Whale ran good. I only made two light passes in the TT before the racing -- and pissed off the track for going down the whole 1/4 mile at the speed I did (wasn't that fast as I limited the RPM to 5000) I have a little minor tweaking needed to be down on the brakes, neutral safety switch, etc., and for Damon to look over the engine to give his blessings for racing at the NSS race in Ennis in a couple of weeks. There are some photos of Dallas in the Vitamin C: www.flickr.com/photos/jacofoto/sets/72157626438359195/
