I need to know if Aluminum heads have to be painted to be NSS legal? I have heard that they would like you to paint then so they appear to be stock iron but was wondering if it was a must? There is a NSS race coming up at my local track in June so I want to make sure I'm in compliance.

You will have to check with the event organizers for their specific rules. NMCA and Texas Outsiders.... they can be bare aluminum.
