JEFF CONLEY NAMED ASSISTANT RACE DIRECTOR

We are pleased to announce an addition to our staff. Jeff Conley will be added on as Assistant Race Director for Milan Dragway. Jeff Conley comes to the track with an excellent background in racing. He worked for NMRA and NMCA for 6 years leaving the position of National Technical Director to join us. Jeff has also been on the NHRA Division 3 certification team for 4 years now and will keep that position.

I had a tenancy of always pissing him off when I opened my mouth (or so I was told) but I always liked having him with the NMCA. He appeared to be one of the few who genuinely liked to see the NSS cars along with the cookie cutter cars.

DON'T DO AS I DO, DO AS I SAY....lol............Never piss off a tech guy..........Feed em, offer strong drink, but NEVER piss em off..............

We have had some of the tech guys make the sign of the cross when we approach...a few have vowed to NEVER accept an open container from us ever again..........
Over in the old NSCA we have spent HOURS going thru tech......."oh, it's those PRO guys"...have offered to get it on right on the spot or toss us out....but it's a different story with the NMCA.........a good bunch...we just rubbed the NSCA wrong a bit.
