OK -- as the NMCA becomes more of a Regional race for the Upper Mid West (4 races within a stone's throw) and South East (three races) -- what 7 seven tracks would you pick to create a series. Only one track per state, and it has to be 1/4 mile with reasonable safety, shutdown, and pits..
The below would be mine based on weather.
March: Gainesville FL (I hate the short sandy pits in Bradenton) April: Commerce GA May: Bowling Green, KY June: Joiliet, IL July: Month off of racing August: Milan, MI September: Memphis, TN October: Houston, TX (finish up where you don't have to worry about 42 degree weather)
A couple of races in reasonable driving distance of most NSS racers in the series, southern tracks when too cold in the north, northern tracks in the heat of the summer, and July to vacation with the kids or grand kids and get caught up in life.

Keeping it southern you have...
Texas Motorplex Ennis, Texas Dallas Raceway Crandall, Texas Thunder Valley Noble, Ok Tulsa yup.... in Tulsa, Ok Shreveport La. Bell Isle ... Southern La. San Antonio Houston Raceway Park
Who needs to travel 4 states away to race? 3 state area and some of the best tracks there are!! All within 500 miles from anywhere in those states.

Maybe we need to find some rich guy with like 4 NSS cars to help set up a local series. One that is tired of driving 1000 miles to each race..... Mmmmmm... Who could this be?, Maybe Name the series after him,,,,,, Thinks of all the money this guy could be saving, not using $4000.00 each race just for fuel...... Mmmmm.... Who do we know?
