The grinding, sanding, masking, and painting will be finished before the weekend.
I have always cleaned the underside of my cars and painted the rails black, the rear end and ladder bars red, and the floor pans gray or silver. After every race the cars are put on the rack and inspected for leaks, cleaned with 409 and paper towels, and a wrench put on all nuts & bolts. This is the only car I hadn't had the underside cleaned smooth and painted to make the inspection and cleaning easier.
