Oh Come On Man, Think about it,
Fugly, The Whale, Texas Thunder and Me all in a heads up 10.0 winner gets the beer race. I myself would be honored. Heck can we fit Max Attack in there somewhere?

Actually -- the first year was a circus, but last year the track personnel got the message.
However, it and Maple Grove had virtually no attendance, and that includes Zmax being for both NMCA and NMRA. They replaced them with Commerce (Atlanta) and Cecil County. St. Louis, which replaced Memphis, has been replaced by Indianapolis.
Both tracks also had local cops scaring the crap out of racers. Maple Grove is real hard to get a big rig into -- and every way in is rated for less weigh than all of the bigger rigs. The PA State Police hang out at the exit and give racers tickets for no CDLs. In North Carolina -- rigs over 65' can't get an over-length permit -- although it is rumored that they are leaving alone rigs going to or leaving the track.
I kinda like Commerce, and I expect it will have a pretty good draw. I'm questioning if Cecil County will be another Maple Grove.

Dave, The maple grove race is replaced by MIR "Budd's Creek" in southern MD. not Cecil as I hoped for. You can have fun there, great ownership and they love NSS cars. I hope to see you there, If I find a job again that is.
