Open in April -- Kool. It needs a lot of work. Now if they'd only twist SS Promotions' arm to have the Monster there -- with racing. I know the Dave Duell Classic is NMCA/Bowling Green this year -- but if the Monster was there with NSS Racing (call it the Mark Artis Classic for 2011 ) I'd race there. I love the Monster.

but the rumor running around the Internet is that it most likely will be only the show portion of the Monster at a Fair Grounds for 2011. I think a show and race in Memphis would sell just as well. Pretty close to center for North and South, and not that far from St. Louis. The track has a pretty good size field for pits and show area -- and I always liked the track.

Memphis is a pretty good track and only 8 hours from Dallas. As for the "Mark Artis Classic"...old and ornery won't put ya in the classic catagory.....Now if they held one for assholes, we would have one hell of a field....I am sure with myself and the Old Hippie we should be #1 and #2 qualifiers........lol
