The 2011 Texas Thaw is March 4th (Friday evening) & 5th (all day Saturday). Ran into someone involved with the show who remembered some "bad-assed red Ford". He said he'd ask about letting us put on a show. I know the North Star gang digs NSS, and it'll be our kind of crowd.....you know......old  Attachments:

All of our cars are ok for the Thaw now...they raised the year from 64 to 72.........We are NOT planning on running the Ford at the Thaw........will have our hands full with Jim's 55 and the Chevy II and it's new bullet.....and the laughing gas will be on.

WE ARE IN !!! Friday nite March 4th 7pm-mid Saturday March 5th 9am till...
They said we'd be a "perfect" fit between all the old diggers, gassers and altereds. We can run it any way we want: round robin, match race, exhibition. They'll even have a flagman if we want. I'll try and work out some prize money with Larry and the Thaw people, my understanding is it will be cheap to race, like $15 or $20. It should be fun, we won't have to endure the tuners, spray and b-b-b-b-b-box bunch.
