My old block has been shot for as long as I have owned the car and I can't believe it's held together this long. The old motor had so much cement in it, it weighed a ton and was hard to cool down between rounds in the 100* heat down here. Should have a new 427 built hopefully by the end of January for some testing in late February. Hoping this "new" motor will get me to 10.0's. Reher Morrison has a heck of a deal on blocks right now about $900.00 of from other places. I am going to rerun just about every other part there is, Just a new block and pistons will be the updated changes.

baby blue 67 Chevelle ............... must be nice to have a Chevy for the cheap parts They had that block on sale for less than $1700.00 I am feeling like I stole it. Everybody around here wanted 5-800 just for an old used Chevy 454 block, that would hopefully still be able to be bored, usually .060+ .....I hated to spend the extra money but feel it was the best value... Reher Morrison has a 900hp motor for $13995.00 delivered to your door. That should have been good for 9.25's in the right chassis.
