I have a set of these rims on my 65 Coronet but not for sure if I have the correct lug nuts to meet NHRA rules. I swapped over to a disc conversion and just used the lug nuts that came with the kit. They are open ended but don't think they are right for the rims. So if you guys out there that are running these wheels could let me know what lug nuts you are using.

The newer Torq Ts use a tapered lug with a built in washer.

If they use the type of cam washers to allow for use on 5 on Mopar/Ford 5 on 4.5 and the Chevy pattern -- then I'd strongly reconsider using those wheels for racing. I have a set of Keystones that use that type of washer and the lugnuts get real loose -- real fast. The washer bend in time -- making the problem even worse.

The ones on my car are not open ended but are way deep. Just an 11.50 car. If any body question them I could just pull on and show how long the studs are.

Our rules require them to be open ended.
