As by all of my ? about this subject you can tell I am not sure as to what to use.
I am running a max wedgie 500stroker with an Indy 440-2 intake as of now it is running in the "B" index. I would like to stay in that index. Which would be a better intake for this? I have looked at the A&A crossram set up or the Indy in-line set up. I have the carbs(600 Carters) and the in-line linkage that came off my Eddy inline. I know that the crossram linkage is more money but that isn't a deal breaker. I did learn that the crossram makes it hard to get to the top valve cover bolts so if I find out that the in-line is hands down better then the crossram then that could just be it for the crossram idea.

I'm sure you have enough power for it. On my 10.5-11.0 second 63 Plymouth with 413 Iron heads -- the car goes slower with the Indy than with a MP cross-ram. But like I said -- it is a small CI with Iron heads.

I have thought about "detuning" it and sticking in the "C" index to save some wear and tear on the motor. I also think that when I get the car tuned/dialed in it should run a 10.3 or 10.40. I ran a 10.89@123 of the trailer(shake down run) spinnig the tires for the first 60 plus feet car was a little sideways.
Looks like I will be getting in touch with DB Engines or Indy this spring for the Indy Inline. Wish we had more MOPAR shops/guys around here to talk to.To many Bowtie/Mustang guys to get real advice from. Sorry just doing a little rambling.

I run the mopar crossram on my 64, like the looks. According to all the articles and test the Indy intake should be 3 tenths faster. I usually run the 10.50 index unless the weather or track is terrible. My motor's small only 451ci and I run full tti exhaust w/ mufflers at 3560lbs w/driver. Attachments:
