I`m in the middle of building a gasser to replace the one I raced in the the early 70`s. My first one was a`63 Falcon sedan 260CI with Hilborns and a T10 . That car was a blast to race. So last year I decided it was time to do it again. This time it`s a `60 Falcon with a true straight axle instead of the econoline axle. Also running a 351C with a tunnel ram at first to sort out the new chassis . Once it`s sorted out then I`m going back to my Hilborns. Also running a Liberty crashbox Toploader into a Strange engineering 9" with 4.86`s . The car also has a tilt steel front end with a removable hood. We are getting ready to fire the motor and break in the cam ,then it`s off to the races. Gasserman Attachments:

Well, we got it fired off Tuesday morning . It shooked my car trailer enough to set off the motion detecter alarm in it. Sounded good ,now just need to finish up the list of little things to do . And then we can go racing. Gasserman

The 49 Ford was my first favorite cars as a kid. Love the 49-51 Fords and the 50-51 Studes with the spinner grilles. A kool aftermarket item for both was a propeller on the front.
