Hey Dave,
Nearing completion on my 74 camaro pro stock cloned after warren johnsons. I should be testing by late august. Had a little setback ( 5 mos. ) due to getting the fiberglass reproduced. Sore subject!! Anyways the car is built by todays safety standards and has 3 motor combinations. The largest is one I ran in pro mod in the 90s. No blue bottle all throttle and should run 6.80s. The smaller motor is a 632 that I had parts to build and will be a 7 sec. motor. I know this doesn,t fit your rules exactly but I think this class is really going to be popular by the response I have gotten when the word got out That I was building a nostalgia pro stock. People want to see the good old days of pro stock and all the other nostalgia classes. There tired of corprate cookie cutters and deep pocket racing!! There are a few cars in the chicago area already and more to come as I have been talking with my old match race crowneys about building these pro stocks and match racing them like we did in promod in the begining. I still have the last Prosecutor NOVA and will up date this winter. I am excited about this camaro and plan to have a blast with it! We need to discuss rules and your opinion on were this class is going.
