I just bought 5 drums of Sunoco Supreme Leaded race gas (112/114 octane) from a Sunoco distributor going out of business. They have the seals on them and I paid $400 a drum. The going rate is $490-$520 a drum and $30 drum deposit.
I need to keep three drums myself for next year -- but will let two of the drums go for $425 and no deposit to the first two that come with a pickup, a couple of tie downs, and $425 cash!
Non racers with high performance 60s-70s Muscle Cars can water down 4 gallons of 93 octane with a gallon of 112 to turn the timing back up and stop the pinging.
I don't think these two drums will last long.
