I'm going to bring the Vitamin C car to Florida. We blew up the intake on the Big Red Ram -- and although the intake is fixed, we ran out of time taking it to the track to test. The car has a new engine, which hasn't been broken in or tuned yet -- and I don't feel it would be smart to bring it untested. I bought the Vitamin C as a backup car, until the wagon is ready -- and we tested it last weekend. It is ready to go. We've had a problem with the black car that Dallas is running blowing oil -- but only on a hard run at high RPMs. Finding the leak has been a big problem. I've replaced oil pumps, head gaskets, hoses, and everything else trying to locate with the blow by is coming from. Damon's partner Cruz thinks he found and solved the problem the other day -- but again we didn't have the time to get the car to the track and test -- and I still have a high RPM breakup that I can't resolve. Combine that with I just don't need the hassles of entering and exiting Florida with their new revenue generating schemes -- and I let my commercial driver's license expire in 1979 and haven't been able to go through all of the bull needed to get one back for the crazy states demanding it -- we'll take the Vitamin C car in an enclosed with my pickup to Florida. I wish NMCA would not have Bradenton. That sandy-ass track is a POS, and the FL-DOT is a MF with the bigger rigs. We'll leave Wednesday afternoon and stay at a motel in Bradenton. When we get back, we'll iron out the wrinkles on both cars and take them to Dallas and Bowling Green. I really hope to have the wagon by Chicago -- and to have been able to test it fully. Are you going to Bradenton?
