Here is a before and after picture of the rear disc brake upgrade I am doing on the 60 Plymouth. It's a Strange engineering kit. I replaced the rear in this car many moons ago to get rid of the tapered shaft attachment of the rear drums. I also already had Green bearings, so I didn't have to install those with the kit. Before: After (not plumed up yet, waiting for some fittings): The good part of this is I've shed 37 lbs. so far. Next is the aluminum master cylinder. Al Wilson

Car looks solid, from the southwest? what made you choose Strange? The car is from Kentucky, and though it looks faily solid, it has some rust issues that I'll address at some point. I've been noting brake conversion opinions for a couple of years, and it seemed Strange conversions recieved good reviews. That being said, I have one issue with the kit, that being rotor fit on the hub. There are two sets of holes for wheel studs on the rotor. The set that fit best does not allow the rotor to fit flat on the hub...the wheel studs have larger diameter boss extending past the hub (being pressed in studs). The second set of holes allow it to fit flat on the hub, but are slightly larger than the boss so there is some up and down play meaning I'll have to center the rotor when I tighten the wheel. Strange's answer for this is I need their axles with screw in studs that don't have the boss. Al
