MAXIMVS II Update - 64 Savoy

Well it's been awhile and I've slowly been accumulating parts for the 64 Savoy hemi 4-speed project. I'm building this car to run NSS/D (11.50 index) when required. It should be capable of running high to mid 10's when completed though. The build is as follows:

* 64 savoy
* 472 hemi (10.5 CR, solid lifter cam, etc, etc with crossram and two carters or holleys, I haven't made up my mind yet)
* 18 spline hemi trans
* Dana 60 with a locker and 4.56 gears, 29.5" MT streets
* full exhaust, TTI headers
* full interior
* Only fiberglass on the car is the 64 hemi scoop

Looks great Chuck. Are the heads K heads or the MP steel crate heads, I could not see the numbers. Will she be ready for next season? poppaj

Jim, not K heads. They are off a crate motor, PN# 2780559-M. Probably be early next year before it sees any street time.

It's gonna be a haul from here. It should be worth the effort, I'm getting too old for this stuff.

I really like that color Snook. Are you going to accent it with stripes, checks or some design? Is it a stock color?

It almost looks trick against plain colors.

It's mopar 1969 Q5. Going to be solid color as it will see mostly street duty. I hay add a ghost MAXIMVS II to the top of the quarters... Maybe a ghost Texas Outsiders to the fenders as well.

The color really stands out in the sun.
