We're here. Got here bout 10 thurs night. Saw Richard and Jim in line. Guard woke us up at 2 to move up. Then we were right up front, by the main entrance, highway, trucks and noise. Not much sleep after the move. See y'all in a few. Jimmy Ray

Looks to be a good weekend for racing. Clear skies, cool weather, and quite a few NSS cars.
Electrical Gremlins are at work. Barry Camp's motor home is by-passing the 300 AMP circuit to get power. I wouldn't have done that.
Skip has a water leak in his fresh water tank.
My coach goes nuts (electricity in the coach goes wild) when connected to the trailer. I think it now blew my satellite dish. I thought it was fixed before we left -- but I guess it wasn't. There appears to be a short.
Parked next to Doug as usual. Had a little cookout last night as usual. Drank a lot of beer as usual.
TT starts at noon -- so I guess I better break away from the puter and take my shower.
If you are here at the track, with Internet access (or smart phone) -- check in with your update. Quite a few other classes have boards that they check in on -- and we need to get with the same program, so those not able to make the race get a diversified point of view instead of just two people posting.
I believe there will be a Internet simulcast. Post a link to it if you know it.

Like I posted earlier (when the NSS race was first announced), it's way outside of my self imposed, 300 mile travel limit! And, I don't have enough vacation days left. I know you guys will have a blast.

Looks to be a good weekend for racing. Clear skies, cool weather, and quite a few NSS cars. Electrical Gremlins are at work. . My only gremlins are self made. Was cold last weekend bracket racing, so BOTH racing jackets are in the truck, not the trailer or motor home. Bumed one from Baskin. Left the key on, on the four wheeler. Hope the battery isn't toast. Nap time now....

I knew I had 50 pounds too much bolted on, but I wanted to get a base line. Qualifying starts tonight -- so I'll be OK. Dallas' car still can't run the 9.75 number. We'll crank up the timing a little and try again before throwing in the towel for A/NSS

second Time Trial. I stage a little deeper than I wanted because I was bumping in and launching at 3000 instead of 2500 to see what would happen. Red light happened. I need to stay with 2500 and a medium stage. First Qualifying is in 2 hours. I hope the weather doesn't change much -- but I'm afraid it is going to cool down too much and I might be a little fast. It is going to be close. Dallas ran a 9.78 with the timing bumped up a little. He ought to be on his number at 6PM. It was 79 degrees when we ran at 4PM.

I put a little too much weight in the car because I wanted to make sure I got into the show -- before getting aggressive. Q2 is at 10:30 am. I took the ballast out and will see what the weather is in the AM before deciding if I'll unbolt some weight.

Doug ran a 9.762 which improved him from 12 to 3 so far. I took out 70 pounds and lifted at the MPH cone and did a 11.014 which improved my from 11 to 4th so far. Dallas tried to shift his car at 7200 and it started to breakup -- so he didn't have a good run. I figure he's 11 or 12 now. Charlie is #1 with a .001 and Poskavitch ran a .005 for 2nd. Don't laugh at my RT -- I lost focus for a fraction of a second and got a Grandpa Light.
