I've always liked PPP -- but I have a B&M ratchet shifter in my Vitamin C car as I'm too cheap to replace it -- and got use to it. I did recently spring for a T-Handle with the line lock button in it. The one I hate is the Cheetah. I've a couple of times passed 2nd gear -- and I'm not the only one to complain of that. Dallas on the other hand will occasionally pass 2nd gear on the PPP -- but I never have. He likes the Cheetah. You can't miss a shift with a ratchet shifter -- but some people can't let it click back for the next shift. I've not had that problem. The PPP allows for changes to forward and reverse patterns, and a clean neutral (change the side plates) -- and makes a great air-shifter ad a solenoid and air tank.

To be honest, I don't even know. Gabe 'thinks' it's a B&M, but not sure. How's that for "Guess it don't matter"?!
Our is a glide, so I guess any old shifter can make one shift!

Except for my 4 speed car, they all have the B & M like in Dave's orange car. I have an old Quicksilver in my wagon and it's been flawless for twelve years. Didn't the guy that invented the Powerglide also invent the transmission jack.
