The only NMCA Index class to be racing at Houston this November is NSS. Every cent of the entry fee will be put back into the purse. Details are at www.nss-racing.com/Additionally, Doug Duell is working on getting some bonus money. This all has the potential of being the biggest NSS payout ever -- if we can get about 40+ cars. So far we've counted about 20 that say they'll be there -- but more and more racers are saying that they haven't heard of this race. We all need to get the word out. While I realize many drivers put their car up for the winter in early November -- it is still 70-80 here in Houston. Check out the details, make it a point to attend, and call and talk to your NSS buds about coming down to Texas to warm up. I intend to bring three cars. NMCA is expected to lose three tracks -- Houston would make a great early Spring or Late Fall track.

Frank's wagon is for sale, I'm not even close, but the three 64 Dodge boys should make it. ( Tony, Steve and Mark ). Trying to get these sh!t kickers to understand index racing is like trying to explain how to split the Atom.............
We need to scour Oklahoma ( I heard Vic sold his 65 ? ) and Louisiana.
We'll need to do some politickin' at The Monster... RICK

Great on Tom and Jerry. I was asking about both to Damon and Doug over the weekend.
How come Frankenwagon won't be there?

Tough Market to Sell. Didn't PoppaJ sell his 63 to someone down this way? Can anyone get a hold of them? Doug Duel will be at the race. I assume Texas Thunder, Fugly, and Trannyman (if he still has the car) will be there. Anyone talk to Clay, Rosie, and Bill/Mitzi?

Kirk Manual, he owns the Manual Auto Group in Ft. Worth. You guys probably know him. He also has a real nice gray 63' 330 Dodge that is a 10.50 car. Thought he said he won a big NSS race last year at Houston... Don't think he will have my old car at the monster since he was going to put a W7 in it and run NHRA SS/CM. which is one of those crate motor classes. As Casey said he plans on going to the Monster..Does anyone know if they rent golf carts?? We only have a 24' trailer and ours will not fit with the car. We are looking at 32' trailers maybe we will have a new one before the Monster.

Dago...why not "RENT" the Frankenwagon for that race............ One of several possible options being worked on. I'm thinking it would sell faster if people saw it in action. I'll be bringing flyers to Monster, maybe a new owner would make Houston. Carol's Durango is on its third computer in 18 months. At $900 a pop, it's digging deep into the budget. The local Dodge dealer has really put a screwing to me. And, I just put $3,000 in my Dually. Two pumps, a clutch slave cylinder, water pump and now the paint job is peeling off. "So, other than that Mrs Kennedy, how did you like Dallas....
