Yes, it is. IMO, the CC's were much better when JJ had them. I'll support his races if I can.

I don't have a dog in the fight and the races are too far -- but the Soap Opera makes for entertaining reading

A NHRA offical that lives here said he thinks the Monster Mopar is moving to Indianapolis, there no place around here that can hold it, Joliet, Indy, maybe Bolling Green, KC is a S hole in my humble opinion. The guy that owns it is from St Louis .

We're all waiting on Doug to give us the "official" word. I don't want to start making plans before the actual date and place is released. I'm confident we'll be the first to know.
Indy would be nice. Bowling Green would be even nicer!
Any other tracks, would take away from the car count, as they will be getting farther and farther away from the South (and West, if Joliet) racers. IMO....
I'm dreaming of three, MAJOR, NSS races at BG (sung to the tune of "White Christmas").

Indy an BG or about the same distance for me from Southern Illinois. I have been to all the Holly deals since the first one and they are well run and fun events to be a part of. the guys running the drag racing part of the program are the best. although Indy seems easy er to get to than BG, any of them would be OK for the Monster, they have the room to spread out. I have been to the Good Guys at Indy and it was very crowded but the show cars stayed out of the drag pits!!

I sure hope that Memphis can be worked out. Indy will keep a lot of Southern Boyz from making it. It appears that NSS is wanting to group around Northern Indiana and Mid- Ohio and leave the Southern Boyz behind. Us Southern Boys need to band together and find a NMCA replacement that is inclusive of us.

Still waiting on an OFFICIAL word on the Memphis sale. Lots of word on the internet that it's a done deal, BUT, I have not seen a press release from Dover. That`will give me a little tummy comfort.
After all the false starts, promises made, deals fell thru, etc....I won't be 100% sure, until the title changes hands with the local tax accessor's office.
I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath.
Memphis would make for some great NSS racing (as long as it isn't in June, July or August!).
